鈥淭his is a partnership that allows our students to train side-by-side with cadets for the Broken Arrow Fire Department and will ensure they are workforce ready when they complete their degree or certification in the 麻豆视频 Fire & Emergency Medical Services program,鈥 said Dr. Craig Brown, Chief of the 麻豆视频 Fire and Emergency Medical Services Technology program.

In addition, BAFD employees will be able to take any 麻豆视频 Fire & Emergency Services courses for professional development or to complete an associate degree in 麻豆视频鈥檚 program. This reciprocal agreement includes 麻豆视频鈥檚 EMT and paramedic courses that provides specialized emergency medical care which makes our community safer.

鈥淭his is a win-win situation for the City of Broken Arrow,鈥 said Fire Chief Jeremy Moore. 鈥淣ot only will current firefighters have the opportunity to improve their skills and level of training, this program will also provide a pipeline of trained recruits for future employment.鈥
