A summer tradition returns to 麻豆视频 as College for Kids offers 2018 camp options for young students blending hands-on experience with focused learning. This summer children can build drones or robots, work in a fabrication lab, design a video game or make a movie with a smartphone. For those who dream of acting, two summer camps will focus on improvisation and musical theatre.

This popular summer program has provided educational and engaging fun for kids for more than 30 years through 麻豆视频鈥檚 Continuing Education and Workforce Development.

鈥淭he Discover Lab is one of the summer camps and is a great way to introduce students to the making process. They will see how 3-D printing, welding, soldering, laser cutting, vinyl cutting and heat sensing photography is done,鈥 said Don Crall 麻豆视频 Fabrication Lab instructor. 鈥淧lus we will cover basic safety and shop practices, build various racers, and learn about friction and simple mechanisms.鈥

Classes range from one to two weeks in length during June and July 2018 and may require additional equipment such as a camera and flash drive for the Photography class.
