Tulsa native Elizabeth Theban isn’t a full-time �鶹��Ƶ student, but that doesn’t keep her from taking advantage of a local option for summer courses.

Elizabeth is an Art History student at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, and her summer classes at �鶹��Ƶ keep her on track to graduate in 2018.

“Art History students have to take practical art courses like drawing and painting,” she said. “But those classes are extremely time-consuming during the course of a regular semester.”

Elizabeth plans to pursue graduate education in museum studies and work in collections management for a museum or similar facility. Supplementing her OU education with classes at �鶹��Ƶ helps her do that on her own timeline.

“It’s very convenient that I can come home for the summer and get art and general education courses out of the way,” she said. “�鶹��Ƶ gives me those options.”
